Silver Shells Beach Resort & Spa sits on 31 acres next to Henderson Beach State Park in Destin, Florida. With private beach access, a sprawling lagoon pool with a hot tub, kiddie pool, and waterfall, an on-site Ruth’s Chris Steak House, and poolside cabana options, Silver Shells offers a full resort experience along the Emerald Coast.
Destin vacation rentals are available across four towers: St. Barth, St. Croix, St. Maarten, and St. Lucia. Each tower is named after a Caribbean island and offers a variety of floor plans and Gulf views. A fifth tower, St. Kitts, is currently under development and will be the final addition to the resort.
Guests staying at Silver Shells through Compass Resorts receive two beach chairs and one umbrella each day from March 1 through October 31 at no additional charge. Beach attendants are available throughout the season, and guests can also rent water sports equipment directly from the beach, including parasails, wave runners, sailboats, and kayaks.
Spa Services:
When you're ready for a break from the beach, The Spa at Silver Shells Resort offers a variety of services, including massage therapy, body treatments, skin care, manicures, and pedicures. Half-day and full-day spa packages are also available for guests looking to make relaxation a priority.
For those who prefer to stay active, the resort's cardio center features treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, and Summit Trainers. A separate fitness room is equipped with Body Masters circuit equipment.
Beach Services:
Silver Shells makes it easy to enjoy a day on the sand. Beach attendants provide comfortable chairs and umbrellas, while water sports rentals are available directly from the beach. Guests can rent parasails, wave runners, sailboats, and kayaks throughout the season.
All condos rented through Compass Resorts include two beach chairs and one umbrella each day of your stay at no additional charge from March 1 through October 31.
Drone Information:
Due to Silver Shells' proximity to Destin Executive Airport, the entire property is located within Area 1 Class D Airspace. Drone flights over the property are not permitted without FAA authorization and written approval from the HOA. FAA authorization is required on a case-by-case basis under Part 107.
