Compass resorts was wonderfully communicative throughout our stay along with booking and prior to our stay. We will definitely be staying again in the future

This is our second time staying at Compass resorts. We chose this unit because we like this building's view and it had 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. The one bathroom picture with a shower curtain has been upgraded to a shower similar to the other bathroom, so they should update the photos. The good. It was clean and spacious, great views and all of the amenities that the resort offers. Glad to see they had pickleball courts and upgraded the basketball courts. Plenty of dishes, bowls, glasses, silverware and utensils to use. There was a coffee maker in the pictures, but not one in the condo, just the Keurig. Good large washing machine. The bad. The kitchen is dated, you can see it in the pictures. Laminate counter tops that had previous damage and stains. I don't think the disposal worked that well, the food went down but didn't sound like my disposal at home. The cabinets didn't close easily some times and the veneer is peeling off some of them. The dryer door was tricky to close and the lint filter had a crack in the screen so that needs to be replaced. The master bedroom showerhead leaked out of the back and didn't have a good showerhead on it, didn't feel like a lot of pressure coming out of it. The outdoor patio furniture also was dated and stained. We used the outdoor grills this year and that was great except that one time the grill stopped working and I couldn't get the grill re-lit nor could I start the other grill to finish cooking. I had to bring the food up to the room and broil it. I came down the next day and used the other grill and had to lift the grate up to light it with a lighter. Not a huge deal, but still an inconvenience. Overall I will stay at the resort again, but at a different unit.

We booked this condo as a family vacation to celebrate my daughter’s high school graduation. It was even better in person than the pictures online! Everything about it was perfect and absolutely beautiful! I would definitely book it again.

Silver Shells is a wonderful resort. We hoped there would be more things to walk to. They do need to post some signage around the pool area about phone etiquette. Loud conversations on speaker phone should not be acceptable when the purpose of vacation is to relax. Originally this is not the unit we chose but we’re asked to change. This is a very nice unit. Our trip was dampened by red tide, strong rains and very high winds. Due to the weather we spent quite a bit of time inside. The thing about this unit is the disgusting couch. I’ve seen better on a college student’s front porch. It was just awful and the throw pillows smelled really bad. And the Jacuzzi in the master bathroom was left with a filthy ring around it. I didn't notice it until the third day of our stay and we were leaving the next day before the office opened. My husband said it was a shadow but when I wiped it with a wash cloth it was not. And the ceiling fan in the same bathroom had so much filth on it the blades looked as though they were growing fur. This makes me wonder how many other things had not been cleaned and sanitized. The unit just needs maintained and updated a bit.

It was my family's first trip to Destin. Our accommodations did not disappoint... totally beautiful! The condominium was perfect for our family, not to mention the gorgeous view of the ocean! The ladies in the office were very friendly and helpful. The entire staff near the pool, from security to the grounds keepers were very friendly and courteous. To say the least, our vacation was over the moon, according to our grandchildren

First timers to Destin from IndianaThis three bedroom, three bath condominium was beautifully decorated and accommodated our family perfectly! The ocean view from the 9th floor was stunning! The unit has its own parking spot in the underground garage with a nearby elevator. During our stay, we never had to wait on an elevator due to large crowds. Our children and grandchildren loved the pool accommodations and also the two beach chairs and umbrella, which were included with the rental. We were able to rent additional chairs and umbrellas to accommodate the entire family. Silver Shells St Croix is located perfectly to dining and shopping. We loved the Back Porch restaurant and the candy shop, which were both within walking distance! We would highly recommend this unit!!

Our stay was excellent and the condo and property offered everything we needed for our stay. The guest portal was a great tool for information and your staff was very pleasant, front desk, grounds, Housekeeping. Overall, great accommodations, location and staff. We will be returning again.

Perfect for Family Birthday This was the perfect location and space for our family of 6. The listing was just as indicated, offered all the amenities we needed, including kitchen supplies to cook a large meal. There was a enough space which didn't feel crowded, for 5 adults and 1 child. Close proximity to all the restaurants, shipping and a few steps distance to nice Lagoon pool and beach. We will be making this an annual family event and this will be our preferred location.

Fabulous view from the living area and master bedroom, comfortable accommodations, all 3 bedrooms are nice. Beautiful Beach, clean and pretty grounds, appreciated that it was gated with a guard, parking in the garage felt secure, complimentary beach chairs and umbrella were a plus. Convenient to walmart for supplies, snacks, etc. Only 10-15 min from some great restaurants. Only improvements we would suggest are the couch looks like it needs to be replaced or could use a nice cover, and adding a simple keurig it the unit would be great. We bought a small one at walmart to use since we brought our favorite kpods. Watching the dolphins while drinking our coffee on the balcony each morning was a highlight.

As an Avid traveler, we stay in many panhandle and Orlando condos - 906 St. Croix was simply wonderful. Huge 9th floor space with beautiful view of the ocean through massive sliding glass doors. Plenty of beds and bedding, ample dishes glasses, and updated kitchen appliances (bosh washer - Whirlpool fridge) as well as newer Samsung washing machine/dryer. Internet was solid and secure, I tested it at 25mbps during our stay. When we return to Destin this is where we will be - no questions asked. Thank you for hosting us!!
