Description

With all the comforts of home and the amenities of a beach house, Bella Luna is the perfect vacation destination. Three floors, five bedrooms, and plenty of outdoor living space provide enough room for groups of all sizes to relax. The home’s multiple balconies overlook a private pool and are perfect for enjoying views of the neighborhood’s lake. Or, soak up some rays and enjoy the beach during your stay as the community beach is just a short walk from your vacation home.

This is a three-story house.

The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a flat-top stove, and deep double sinks. This kitchen is well stocked with the dishes and utensils you will need to feel at home. A marble-top breakfast table seats four and there is additional seating for two at the breakfast bar. A guest bedroom with a queen bed and a flat-screen TV is located on this floor. A guest bathroom that is centrally accessible from both the bedroom and living area complete the second floor. The couch in the living area also converts into a queen bed for larger groups.

A large tiled foyer leads to the first-floor guest bedroom. The bedroom has private access to the pool deck and has plenty of seating if you want to get out of the sun and relax around a flat-screen TV. There are twin over full bunk beds and a convertible sleeper sofa in the room. The laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer are located on this floor. Four sets of sliding glass doors open to the expansive lakeside balcony. The living area is comfortably arranged around a flat-screen TV. The adjoining dining area has seating for eight comfortably. The master bedroom is richly decorated and features a king bed, flat-screen TV, and private access to the third-floor balcony. A twin daybed provides an extra lounge or sleep space. The master bathroom has a double vanity, tub, and separate walk-in shower. Two additional guest bedrooms are located on this floor--one with a king bed and one with twin over full bunk beds. Both bedrooms have flat-screen TVs and share a hall bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

For the pool to be heated during your stay, we require at least 48 hour notice before your arrival to ensure the pool has time to reach the proper temperature of 88℉. The pool heat charge is $50 per day of your reservation. This home is equipped with a gas based pool heater, which can operate as intended regardless of outdoor temperature.

Great property
We had a group of friends come with us to Destin for my my husband's birthday and this property was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and there was plenty of room for everyone. The pool was a bit messy when we arrived due to recent storms and they had someone come to clean it asap, it was ready to go by the next morning when we woke up! Also, the washing machine was not working but communication was great with the host and they sent someone to look at it...ended up having to replace the machine. Other than those 2 small issues, everything was great and communication was quick and easy. Would definitely book again.

The house had several broken handles on the patio doors making it difficult to re-enter the house after closing the porch doors. This had to have existed for weeks before we rented it as these other issues. TV channels black out and freeze during watching, 2 remotes need to operate TV's also. Ice maker did not work the entire time we were there. We waited 2 house to enter the house after we were told the house was ready.... because the Code for the front door did not work....in fact it did not work the entire stay.....untill our grandson over ran the code by punching number after number when he was bored waiting to leave for the beach one day. Then, the tech that came to the house magically fix the door code. The floor of the house had sand all over when we arrived. The outside shower was still winterized. We were not told we had to wear bracelets to use the beach and community pools nor that only 3 cars were permitted in the driveway and that there was no additional parking for other vehicles or visitors inside the gated community. There were fines levied for parking on the street in front of the house. Security even stopped and questioned us why cars were there. The pool cleaning guy was parked there. With all the problems that were never addressed.....we were not even offered a discount or gift card!

HOME FOR A WEEK! Bella Luna and every person we interacted with at Compass Resorts met and exceeded expectations. The property became was big enough, furnished well and provided a home away from to our family of 13. The internet was out when we arrived Wed. until 10:30 AM Saturday but I always felt like Compass Resorts was doing everything they could and, to have a Cox Cable repair person on site on a Saturday was such a help. I especially grateful to the Compass property manager who came and met the Cox Cable repair person at the house. She made us feel so comfortable and we appreciate her taking time away from her family on a Saturday.

This place was Fantastic!!!

I highly recommend Compass Resorts. I rented one of their vacation homes for spring break and it was amazing. The home was clean and well kept. Their customer service was superb. Check in was smooth and any issues were addressed immediately. I will definitely be going through them again!

Great stay!
We truly enjoyed staying at Bella Luna. I highly recommend this property and definitely plan to return. The checkin process was smooth. The staff was helpful. The house and community is beautiful and very well kept. It looks just like the pictures. Being in a gated community made us feel nice and safe. The house is about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The beach was breathtaking. The white sand was so clean and beautiful. I loved the privacy of the beach. Our family had our own little area to ourselves. There is a wagon in the garage with coolers, floats, and beach/pool toys for kids. We were a party of 4 adults and 4 children (one being a 1 year old) and we were nice and comfortable with plenty of space. The heated pool was amazing. It kept us nice and warm when it was cool and breezy. The wifi worked great. We were able to connect all of our devices including multiple Firesticks and a PlayStation. I also would like to add that the left sliding door at the bottom level leading to the pool could use some attention. It looks as if it will eventually come apart. We didn’t use it. We only used the right sliding door at the bottom level when going out to the pool.

The property was as beautiful as seen on the pictures, it was well maintained and clean. We couldn't get the pool heated as we were told it would take 24 hours to get the pool heated, otherwise it was an awesome experience, there is a lot of room for big groups.

We are a family of 15 altogether with kids and grandkids. Bella Luna was a nearly perfect fit for us with all the bedrooms and bed arrangements. It was clean and well maintained. Compass Resorts was very responsive to the minor problems that we discovered. It was an amazing location, so easy to get to the beach and the pool was fabulous! We loved our stay and would highly recommend this home to anyone. We would definitely come back here.
