We stayed at Sterling Shores #414 and everything about our stay was PERFECT and EASY! Right from the start, the management company, Compass Resorts made everything so easy. Lots of nice and helpful and personal communications before and during our arrival. VERY HELPFUL! They also left us gift boxes in every bathroom and in the kitchen that held great essentials we were not expecting. Nice Touch! The CONDO itself was perfect. We had neighbors who apologized for being loud late at night, yet we never heard them. IT was so quiet. The Condo was large, modern and very nice. The Pools and beach access were great and everything was well, Perfect. The only mistake was we should not have rented a car. We didn’t use it or need it. Everything was so close we could walk Lots of NICE restaurants right out the back door and all of the grocery stores delivered. Could have saved over a $1,000 on that rental car because of how central this condo is. We will 100% be coming back to this exact unit.

We had a great stay! The kitchen was fully equipped, only negative (but not a huge deal) was the inside of the refrigerator door didn't really hold any items and the shelf fell out frequently. The view was nice, you can see the ocean. My only recommendation (again, not a big deal) would be to have a high top table and chairs on the balcony so you can sit and still enjoy seeing the ocean. Overall, our family had a great week!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sterling Shores resorts. The property was very clean and well maintained. Could use some updating here and there like in the bathrooms, but overall a great property. They were doing renovations on the front of the building, we which is in the description of the property. It was very loud but we knew about it beforehand and didn't affect our experience.The location is awesome, near lots of restaurants and a very short walk to the beach just past the pool. The sand was so soft and beautiful. Walmart and Publix right down the road. Our favorite meal was at Peppers. Definitely recommend. Considering coming back to this property next year! This was our second time staying at Sterling Shores, but our first time in this unit. Unit was great for our family of four! It does sleep six, but the additional sleeping is the pull out couch in the living room. We traveled with three other families, and all were satisfied with their units too! The Back Porch is a gem to have nearby as we could hear names being called from our balcony. Excellent food, but they were extremely busy each night we were there. That’s why it was nice to go and put our name in, and we could walk back to our room for a drink. They call your name at least twice, so you don’t miss your reservation. They have outside seating for waiting too. The beach was amazing, and we walked almost 1.5 miles down to a beach bar one day. The kids went on a banana boat ride, and these type of excursions are only a few doors down from Sterling Shores. They had jet skis too. Also, we highly recommend Jackacuda’s Seafood and Sushi. Excellent sushi and food! Lastly, we enjoyed having the beach chairs that are at the condo for use. When we stayed a couple years ago (different unit), they provided two beach rental chairs for the week. They were set up with our name each morning we walked out to the beach. That was amazing, but I’m sure those days are over for providing them with increased costs for everything. Perfect week, nearly perfect weather, and perfect accommodations!!

This was a great place to stay all the decoration in the room fit the stay. Over the furniture is in good condition although I could not use the spa in main bedroom not sure if it didn’t work or that I didn’t know how to turn it on. The area/real state at the private beach access is a little small for all the people in sterling shores. (Elbow to elbow) We had to go to the Henderson Beach to get more space and play on the beach. But Condo stay, security, parking all good. We made breakfast order food and had no problem with all of that.

This property was perfect! The 2 pools were a big hit with our young children. The beach is an easy walk across the street which was also great with small children. I loved staying here they made everything so easy for us! The view was amazing it was the perfect spot the beach is not a far walk at all. The restaurant (the back porch) close by was delicious. They had all the utensils needed to cook which was very nice! I can go on and on. The point is I will definitely be coming back to stay on my next vacation!

This resort has it all! Great pool, beach front, and the Backyard restaurant is right there, so that you can grab hamburgers or drinks during the day. We will definitely stay at the Sterling Shores again! And Unit 414 must surely have the best view of all! I wish the resort would improve the fitness center, but that it the only slightly negative thing I would say. Really great overall!

My family and I had a wonderful time from the moment we pulled into the location. Beautiful landscaping in front of the resort. Great ocean and pool view. The pictures did not do this unit justice the floor plan was way larger than we thought and the beach decor was perfect. We enjoyed the pools even though one was very cold we got to swim in the other. We loved that we had private beach access and also all the gift stores and shopping stores were on the same strip. The Track go karts and mini golf was 3 mins away. Also go to Harborwalk village (10 mins away) and go on a dolphin cruise with captain Roy!! Everything was amazing we will definitely be coming back next year

Just as advertised. No surprises or disappointing discoveries, other than we thought that the large oasis pool would be heated as well instead of just the small pool, but definitely not a deal breaker and we spent most of the time on the beach anyway. Very cutely decorated, everything you would need in the kitchen is except for no salt/pepper, coffee filters, sugar or olive oil. Make sure to pack your own so you don’t end up needing to buy all new pantry basics when you get down there. Also would recommend purchasing some cheap beach chairs at the beginning of the trip as we didn’t realize it would be $$$$/day to rent two chairs on the beach. Overall, highly recommend this unit! We liked that the Back Porch restaurant was right there so that we could get frozen drinks easily while sitting on the beach.

Beautiful resort and location is perfect. Loved having two pools… perfect for families. Room was nicely decorated. Only complaint I would have is that the dryer had a hard time drying clothes and towels. Would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay, everything was pretty much as promised. Our only issue was a minor one: The curtains on the right side of the sliding doors were partially unhooked. We were easily able to compensate for this by just extending the left side curtains a little bit. Overall we had a great time and will likely consider this property again.

This was my family's first time visiting the beach and it was fantastic!the stay was beautiful and clean the best part was the view and waking up to the water sounds I plan on returning in July with our new edition to the family ❤

Beautiful condo. Great location. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again. My only complaints were that the patio door in the living room did not lock and the building itself (sterling shores) should really have some kind of gripping on the cement stairs. Between the dew on the ground in the evening and people dripping water after coming back from the pool, the stairs get very slippery and my husband ended up falling and hitting his back pretty hard on the steps, after that we stuck to using the elevator.

Loved the place and the heated pool was perfect. Restaurant next to the pool the back porch was fabulous. Just be prepared to rent a car or Uber not much within walking distance.

Great experience. Super easy to deal with booking and check in/out. Condo was very well stocked and immaculate. Gulf and pool views were beautiful. Super handy location, private beach area.

We loved the condo! The property was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We wanted a place that had a great pool and location close to the beach and this met our expectations. The beach is a short walk from the condo. If you need a quick bite to eat or want to get some good drinks The Back Porch is a quick walk from the beach and pool. I would definitely take the family back here again!

This was our 4th time in this unit - always clean, comfortable and some new decor was added. Love the way it’s decorated, this drew me in the very first year that we rented. We love the location! See you next year :)

We absolutely loved our stay in the condo. The pics don’t do it justice! The view was amazing & amenities perfect. The condo worked perfectly for 4, but would be comfortable for even 6. We liked having TVs in every room, comfortable patio furniture, and elevators in multiples places on each level. The beds were comfortable & bathrooms spacious enough. The large tub in the master was a bonus! The location was central to everything we did. We highly recommend and will likely be back!

This is a beautiful property. The condo was very clean and well decorated. The balcony view was beautiful. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the Back Porch restaurant. We had a couple issues with things not working quite right at the condo and the property managers quickly resolved them. (Dryer not drying and front stove burner not working). Well stocked condo. Might suggest more "left over" type containers with lids. No complaints at all with this unit or location. We plan to return!!

The property was absolutely beautiful. Very well kept. The kids loved the pool and how close the beach was (ages 3-5) The unit was large and had everything we needed. The only complaint we had was the pull out bed in the couch was terrible to sleep on BUT we expected that with a pull out. This is very centrally located and around all the fun!!

Unit 414 is cute and simply decorated. It had everything we needed. The only improvement would have been if it had been cleaner upon arrival. There were some crumbs on the couch and the bath mats needed to be cleaned. We would stay in 414 again!

The property was just as I expected from the pictures and had almost everything we needed. (The only things we needed that it was missing were a corkscrew, Tupperware - we had to use ziplock bags for all leftovers and a 9x13/9x9 type of baking pan - there were only cookie sheets, muffin pans and a small round pan). The walk to the beach was an easy one - I was worried about crossing a road, but the cars stop for you, and it’s not very busy. There are lots of fun things to do in very close proximity. The staff members were all very friendly and courteous. The biggest downside is that the chair rental companies take up the majority of beach front spots and have signs that you can’t setup in front of them, so our designated area gets a little crowded. Elevators and luggage carts make it easy to load/unload, no matter what floor you’re on. We will definitely return.

We've stayed at Sterling Shores several times. It's a great property, with 2 really nice pools that are also very kid-friendly. The Back Porch and Candy Maker are next door, plus The Track complex down the street. Can't beat the location. #414 is a VERY nice unit, high enough up to see the gulf, well decorated and kept up. A couple items could be better: the A/C fan could use a low speed for continuous running. It can be loud. Also, noise in the common areas can be heard in the bedrooms- could it somehow be sound-proofed better? But we were more than satisfied and would stay there again.

Great combination of lovely spacious condo, nice patio overlooking both the big pool and the gulf, charming furnishings with the surfboard theme, two pools -- one heated, one not heated, steps to the beach, with a good restaurant steps away. Plus nearby additional restaurants, grocery, and more. Fitness room is windowless and a bit tired, but besides that our stay was wonderful. If we were return to Destin, we would definitely return to Sterling Shores and this condo.

This was our second year in this condo and we love it - decorated with beach in mind and very comfy and clean. Love the new balcony furniture! We don't venture far from the property on Spring Break so having The Back Porch right out back is awesome, we end up there several times. We will be back!

This condo is centered over the pool with a great gulf view. We absolutely loved the beach decor of this condo. We've stayed in units that make you think you're on a safari or at grandmas house instead of a beach vacation. We always stay at Sterling Shores and I can tell you that the 2 bedroom units are in a couple of different sizes. This unit is the larger size with the huge balcony, larger rooms and a spectacular view from the master bedroom. We found it to be very spacious for our family and the location can't be beat. We will be staying here again.

This is a beautiful Family friendly resort with an excellent location. Beautiful view of the beach and ocean, short walk to the beach, views of the swimming pool easy to keep an eye on older children. Close to restaurants, Walmart and grocery store. Only a short drive to the Harborwalk. The condo is beautifully decorated and had all the nessecties and essentials one would need for a great week at the beach! Our family had so much fun we are already planning a trip back even though it was a 14hr drive! :) We would def recommend staying at Sterling Shores 414.
