Silver Beach Towers E1005

We truly loved this property and would absolutely book this exact same condo again! It is incredibly comfortable and perfect for a small family, offering fantastic views of both the pool and the beach. Contrary to what some other reviews stated, the balcony is accessible from both the living room and the guest rooms—the doors just require a little extra effort to slide open.As a heads-up for future guests, there are two minor quirks to keep in mind. First, don't pull the master bathroom pocket door completely closed, or it can get stuck (which turned into a funny escape challenge for my teen, but it requires a push from the outside bottom to retract). Second, both toilets require holding the flush lever down for about 6 to 7 seconds to complete a full flush. Aside from these minor quirks, it was a wonderful stay!

This was our first time in Destin. We picked this condo and we weren’t disappointed. It was very clean and well taken care of. Had a great view from every room and balcony. We were worried about the kids going on the balcony but there were some bars put in the door tracks to keep the kids from getting out there. This place was about 5 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go with the kids to have fun.

Our family of 4 stayed at this condo for spring break. The pictures looked great online, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the condo looked exactly like the photos. Everything was in great condition and very clean. We had no issues at all! Check-in was easy, and our condo had everything we needed. The view from the balcony is gorgeous, and it was awesome being able to see dolphins swimming by as I drank my morning coffee. The condo is also very quiet. We heard some footsteps from the unit above us at times, but that was it. Due to the way the building is arranged, there are only two other units in the hallway that this unit is located in, so there is no foot traffic going by or people being rowdy in the hallways like you might get some places. It was an easy walk to the Back Porch just down the beach for awesome food, and there is a liquor store right across the street from the entrance to the complex. The indoor parking spot was great, and we were very impressed with the building security. It was great having two beach chairs included and set up by the beach service; that reduced the amount of stuff we had to haul down from the condo every day. The rules are a little deceiving, though. We read somewhere that personal chairs weren't allowed without approval, and any personal chairs that were used were not allowed to be set up in front of the beach service chairs. We found out that this is not enforced. It wasn't too much of an issue for us most days, but one day a group of 4 did decide to sit down right between us and the ocean. Luckily, they didn't stay long. The beach itself is the nicest beach I've ever been to. The sand is baby powder soft all the way from the condo steps to the ocean. The sunsets were gorgeous! If I had one complaint about the condo, it would be the beds. They were very firm and uncomfortable. An inexpensive memory foam topper would do wonders! That being said, I would still consider staying at this condo again if we ever return to Destin, because I know the amenities, location, and cleanliness do not disappoint!

I did my research and trust me ... this place is great and worth the price. It is exactly as pictured and the views exceeded my expectations. The unit is super clean, fresh, spacious and tastefully decorated. Bed is comfortable and so is the living room couch. Silver Beach Towers are conveniently located in Destin to all the attractions and restaurants. Access to the beach is easy - just steps from the pool area. They have 2 heated pools. You will not regret staying here. However, a few things to be aware of. I booked this place through the VRBO website but I do not consider it a true VRBO. It's a simple vacation rental with none of the amenities of being "home away," which is what a VRBO is supposed to be. That is fine, but should not be advertised as a VRBO then. In a true VRBO the kitchen is stocked with common cooking items (spices, oils, etc) and bathrooms usually have a few toiletries (shampoo, Qtips, etc). This place had none of that. No shampoo (not even samplers like in a hotel), no salt and pepper, and no blow dryer. Just keep all in mind as you pack and go grocery shopping. Also unlike a VRBO, You are not renting directly through the condo owner, but rather through Compass Resorts so there's less flexibility. CR is good to work with and have a great rental system, including an excellent App but be certain of your dates and read their cancellation policy carefully because they are not flexible like an owner might be. I bought the cancellation protection and it only covered documentable emergencies - read that closely also. Lastly, the units are not sound proof. Unfortunately for us the people in the unit above were heavy walkers and we could hear them day and night. They constantly opened and shut their balcony door which rattled our place every time. Kind of annoying. They also played their music loud one evening. Be considerate, people! All in all, you will enjoy it here.

From the minute we checked in at the jaw dropping lobby the property was beautiful and all staff so friendly! You know you've made a great decision when all the guests have a smile on their face! This is the nicest condo we've been to to have been coming to the area for years. All bedrooms facing the ocean-what a delightful view, 2 pools and 2 hot tubs were great! Kitchen was chef ready and really enjoyed the keurig! We will definitely be back!

The room and the Towers were all very clean and the people working there seemed eager to make sure we were happy. The room itself was great and being on the 10th floor, provided some awesome views of the Gulf. We felt safe and had no real problems. We reported a couple minor issues to the Tower management, so hopefully those were taken of. I was a little surprised that we had to perform many of the cleaning activities before checkout when we paid a cleaning fee of $125. Guess that is to help hold down prices. All in all, we would have no problem recommending this location or staying there again.

This is the second time we have stayed in this condo and our third time to stay Silver Beach Towers. I have been coming to Destin for about 25 years. This condo is the best I have ever stayed in. Wonderful views, great pool area. This unit is very clean with all the amenities you could need or want on vacation. Check-in and check-out is very easy and the staff at the rental management company are always go out of their way to accommodate any needs we may have during our stay. We loved our visit and plan to be back soon!

This condo is great. This is my third stay at this property and this by far is the nicest unit I have stayed. While the weather was cool during our stay it was all good. The electronics are a little worn as is the couch but everything else is great. Sleeping with the door open and listening to the waves at night doesn't get any better. Next time visiting, I hope this unit is available.

The condo was very pretty and the view was wonderful. The decor flowed nicely throughout the condo. I liked the high bar patio tables/chairs, allows you to really take in the view. My only complaint would be around the sofa. it is worn and should be replaced at this point. When guests stay for a week or more, a comfortable sofa is a necessity, not to mention this isn't a cheap property. Comfort is important when lounging. The end near the window was sunken in and even sticking extra bed pillows under the cushion was not working. I would stay in this unit again next year, but only if the sofa was new.

My Husband and I just wanted to get away from Kentucky's cold winter weather for a while.  An absolutely beautiful view of the Gulf from our large balcony.  The days were warm and the nights just cool enough for a light jacket.  We loved every minute and already plan to come back!  Thanks to the owner who allowed us to stay and to Compass Resorts for making sure that everything was perfect!

We had a wonderful vacation staying in E1005. The view was spectacular and the facility itself was beautiful and very accessible. Very nice condo with all the amenities needed for a relaxing home away from home.

We absolutely love staying at The Silver Beach Towers. We love the area & will continue to vacation here. Everything from the checking in to checking out was very well explained. Thank you for the texted communications they were very helpful & not over the top with too many, as some companies can be overbearing. It was comforting knowing that our condo was ready prior to arriving. Every time I called to ask questions, your staff was very professional & helpful. This was from the time I called in to set up our reservation to our departure. Again thank you for running a very professional & accommodating company. We took my dad that is 79 & my husband's mom that is 76, they had a great time.

Beautiful! We loved the size of the property and the view was beautiful! Also we really enjoyed the king size beds in both rooms and the large showers!

Best vacation ever! This was our 3rd stay with Compass Resorts in the Silver Beach Towers. We have loved it each and every time! God willing, we will be back!
