Relax and enjoy the beautiful Florida weather in the private backyard, where the BBQ master can prepare a delicious meal in the outdoor kitchen while the family swims in the private pool. The pool features jets on the tanning ledge and LED lights for an illuminated nighttime swim, while a spillover spa provides the perfect place to unwind while enjoying the outdoor television.
A grand foyer welcomes you into the nautical-inspired first floor. The living area features a game room with an air hockey table, comfortable seating, and a large flat-screen TV. The guest bedroom on this floor includes a full-size bed, flat-screen TV, and connecting bathroom with a wheelchair-accessible walk-in shower. The bunk room features a twin-over-twin bunk bed and a full-over-full bunk bed, along with another flat-screen TV. For additional sleeping space, the living room also includes a sleeper sofa.
The second floor is decorated in soft blue and green coastal hues, with natural light filling the open floor plan. The large, fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances, giving multiple chefs plenty of room to prepare meals together. Gather around the beautiful dining table, breakfast table, or kitchen island, which features five unique alligator stools and plenty of space for everyone to enjoy a meal. Just off the living area, a covered balcony provides additional outdoor seating. The first primary bedroom is located off the dining room and features a king bed, flat-screen TV, balcony access, and an attached bathroom with a double vanity, walk-in shower, and soaking tub.
The remaining three bedrooms are located on the third floor. The king and queen bedrooms each feature a flat-screen TV and private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The main primary bedroom features a king bed, flat-screen TV, and balcony access. The gorgeous primary bathroom includes custom seahorse vanities, a large walk-in shower, and a soaking tub. This house I thought was even prettier than in the photos. The stone throughout the home was beautiful, all of the bedrooms were gorgeous, and the outside pool area was very nice. I would stay here again. The management company was fantastic to work with and very responsive on some work requests we submitted. Great for families
Our family enjoyed the house and location. It was very accommodating for the 9 of us. The proximity to the beach and having private beach access was a main attraction for us. We also appreciated the pool since it was unseasonably cold during our trip and having the heated pool made it more enjoyable for the kids. We stayed a couple houses down earlier this year & just had to stay in the same area again! The walk to the beach is so close & convenient with littles. Having the outdoor pool/spa was a bonus. We had an incredible stay at this beach house! The location was perfect—just steps from the beach and close to everything we needed, including great restaurants and local attractions. The house had plenty of space for our large group, and the layout worked really well for both adults and kids. One of the highlights was the private pool—it was the perfect size for the little ones to splash around and play safely, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Christmas in Florida!
My family and I had an amazing stay at this property! The location was AMAZING!! Close to everything and literally across from the beach. It would have been even better if the weather had been sunny! But we made the best of it. I think there was a little confusion on the sleeper sofas as we didn’t find one of them in the home however there were still plenty of beds for everyone to sleep comfortably! We have been coming to this subdivision for many years. We love the location & private beach! The house is large enough to accommodate our family with a private restroom for each. Ideal multi-family location
We had 3 families- 3 couples and 7 kids. There was ample room for everyone. The beach was a very short walk across the private community street. When the kids were tired of the beach, they swam at the pool and played tons of air hockey at the house. We went to the nearby water park one day. There were numerous other nearby attractions that we considered visiting but everyone had so much fun at the house, we spent most of the time there. Property management promptly sent assistance when we had a little trouble figuring out the elevator (it came in handy for luggage and groceries) and were quick to handle a wasp nest on the balcony. Great family vacation
The house was great. The location was perfect. The beach was amazing and just a few steps away. We had 6 adults and 7 children ages 6 to 14. There was plenty of room. The few notes. The area with the bunkbeds is actually in a small area immediately off the garage. No big deal but not a room so be aware. There are no beach towels so we had to buy some and leave them there. Minor things that didnt impact our time but just FYI. The management was responsive to any calls we made . Lots of activities and restaurants close by. Great House with Great Amenities

Absolutely beautiful house!
Beach access is 15 steps away, once we got the new heater for the pool amd spa it was amazing! We had 8 kids and 5 adults amd it was plenty room for everyone. The elevator was such a plus to get everything to and from third floor!:) management definitely take pride in there work amd they really made sure to accommodate amd make us happy. Fun Stay!
Loved how close this property was to the beach and how many people it could accommodate. The pool was also a great feature with the outdoor bar! Family Vacation
This property was perfect for our family! On the 2nd day we were there, we called the property manager to tell them that the internet had stopped working. They sent someone out right away. To our embarrassment, when they arrived they found out the problem was only that one of our young children had unplugged it! Beautiful home. Needs some attention. Dont be fooled by kids bedroom area, it is the mudroom off the garage. Loved elevator. Nothing except small fridge worked on outdoor stuff, including grill. Spent 4 days for my dads 80th birthday here. Plenty of space. Hot tub was fantastic. The property manager was great to work. The best asset to this amazing home was the elevator. My family members really enjoyed our stay. Thanks for accommadating our arrival and departure times.
As I stated, we really enjoyed our stay. However, following are a few little hiccups experienced: We could not get the outside burner between the sink and stove to heat our fryer more than 300 degrees, which was too low for frying; There were a number of ants patrolling the kitchen counter near the the coffee pot/wet bar areas; The front door bell did not work; lighting in kitchen/living room area was poor for approximately half of the group, who are in their 70s; and there was a leak underneath the face bowl nearest the jacuzzi in the master bedroom/third floor; and, we had difficulty finding be bedding for the sofas near the kitchen. We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was in a perfect spot to walk to the beach and it had all the amenities that our kids could ask for if they just wanted a break from the sand! I would highly recommend staying here
I would not say it sleeps 25. The correct # would be 14. Adult couples would account for 10, 2 in each of the 5 bedrooms. The bunk room is right off the garage and it is really not a room. It is perfect for kids though. I would say 4 should sleep there. You could have them share the bottom bunk and make it 6. That would require kids sleeping together. We had 5 couples and 2 kids. It worked out perfect. 2 more kids would be fine in my opinion. Everything was excellent. Nothing to complain about. The elevator is a little tricky, so don't count on it. It works fine, just needs to be done correctly and that takes everyone knowing what to do. If one doesn't, it'll stay on a floor and not move. It is decorated great. Kitchen is awesome. Outside kitchen is awesome! Pool is perfect. Watching TV in the jacuzzi is cool. Have fun on your stay!Blake T. - Posted: 8/25/2016

We sincerely appreciate getting positive and constructive feedback from our guests as we want our guests to have a great experience. We get lots of good comments on the TV the pool deck, we think it's pretty cool, too. We will take a look at the elevator to make sure everything is working as it should be and see if we can do anything to make it less tricky. On the # sleeps, the max is listed as 22, don’t forget about the three Queen size sleeper sofas, one on the first floor and two on the second. We recognize not all adults are going to want to sleep on a bunk or sleeper sofa, but if you have a large group, the home can accommodate.Compass Resorts staff

We loved having all the space for our large family.
I was relieved to find the property as lovely in person as it is in photos. I have stayed in some places that definitely were not! We loved having all the space for our large family. We were able to cook meals and share them around that large dining table. I could have done so many fun things for our family without ever leaving the house had we been staying longer (and if the weather had been a bit more cooperative!) I loved all of the outdoor seating areas and outdoor kitchen! Overall we did enjoy our stay and hope to come back!Anonymous

Great family vacationThe house was great. The location was perfect. The beach was amazing and just a few steps away. We had 6 adults and 7 children ages 6 to 14. There was plenty of room. The few notes. The area with the bunkbeds is actually in a small area immediately off the garage. No big deal but not a room so be aware. There are no beach towels so we had to buy some and leave them there. Minor things that didnt impact our time but just FYI. The management was responsive to any calls we made . Lots of activities and restaurants close by. I would absolutely come again.Anonymous

Castle By the Sea
My family recently stayed at Castle By The Sea, a beautiful home in the Dunes of Destin complex. The house was incredible, and it was only a three minute walk to the beach. This was a very unique home, with a bathroom for each bedroom, plenty of room to hang out together or have your own space. The staff at Compass Resorts were friendly, caring, considerate and ready to help with any questions or concerns we had. We had a wonderful time, and can't wait to go back. Beautiful place
Overall it is a great place to stay. We had 15 in our group. Everyone had a bedroom. Not far from the beach at all. Close to restaurants. The ONLY thing we didnt like was the big roaches in the kitchen.Anonymous

Excellent Wonderful location and property. My only complaint would be that the hot tub is actually a “spillover spa.†So it didn’t get hot, only warm. Management was quick to respond to us regarding this matter though. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for a large family.Anonymous
