The 73rd Annual Destin Fishing Rodeo

Destin, FL is famously known as “The World’s Luckiest Fishing Village” and there is a reason for that title! Every October, Destin hosts the annual Fishing Rodeo. This tournament has been a local tradition since 1948 and it’s a reel good time for anglers of all ages! To participate, both private and charter boats must register to enter the rodeo at least 24 hours prior to weighing in your catch. Participants of the rodeo are competing for a chance at cash prizes, awards, and the glory of the biggest catch, but most of all to have a good time and make memories! You don’t have to participate to enjoy the rodeo, watching the daily weigh-ins is also something spectacular to witness! Head over to AJ’s Seafood and Oyster bar every day during the month of October from 10am-7pm to see the biggest catches of the day.

Baytowne Wharf Beer Festival

The 13th Annual Baytowne Wharf Beer Festival will be hoppening October 8th-9th, 2021. Join Baytowne for samplings of over 200 local and specialty brews from around the country! This event will also offer local food vendors, live music and merchants on the lawn. Tickets are available for purchase now so grab your best beer buddies and head to the best beer festival on The Emerald Coast!

Festival of the Arts

Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation presents the 26th Annual Festival of the Arts! This event will take place October 30th-31st and features over 65 artists from around the country showcasing their artwork ranging from 18 different mediums in an outdoor walking exhibit. This event will also include live music, food vendors, a wine and beer garden and more!
