To the bonds that define us and the loyalty that inspires us, this milestone belongs to you as much as it does to us.

February 2026 marks 20 years of Compass Resorts, and as we reflect on the journey that brought us here, we’re filled with gratitude. What began in 2006 as a big dream with humble beginnings, sketched out on the back of a Panera Bread napkin and run from café tables for the first few months, quickly grew into something truly special. From our first office at The Plaza on Furling Lane in Destin to continued growth across the Emerald Coast, each chapter has been shaped by the trust you placed in us.

As our company grew, so did our roots in the community. In 2009, we moved just over the county line to Miramar Beach, later running our operations team out of an Airport Road location before settling into our current home at The Palms of Destin in 2019.

Our most recent expansion came in 2023, when we added onsite operations and professional laundry services at The Palms of Destin. This expansion allowed us to improve efficiency, enhance service standards, and better support both our guests and homeowners while staying true to the vision that started it all.

Along the way, we’ve had the privilege of caring for more than just vacations. From some of our very first rental agreements, properties like Absolute Destiny and Harbor Landing 203A, which remain part of our program today, to becoming the onsite managers for Silver Beach Towers in 2012, Silver Shells Resort & Spa in 2018, and The Palms of Destin in 2019, every step forward has been guided by meaningful relationships and shared trust.

As we step into our 20th year, we look forward to celebrating this milestone all year long and sharing our appreciation in meaningful ways. Most of all, we’re excited to continue welcoming you to the Emerald Coast and creating experiences worthy of your trust.
