We had a terrific stay at your Summer Spell location - Unit #308 - love the location, smaller building aspect which provides a more beach, low-key vacation feel for us! (vs the 5-building, high-rise). While the extra amenities(gym, etc) are nice, we find we don't use them. Usually, we're out and about & love, love to come home to a balcony view, ocean or bay to have a good swim workout in, and the option to dine out or to eat in with comfortable couches, deck, bright and happy decor surrounding us. This unit had all that. The pool / hot tub options always great too! The pricing on this home was nice as well -- again, I don't need all the bells and whistles of "Resort activities". Your staff was above and beyond responsive, polite, and helpful! Starting with the booking process and levels of resorts available -- they made sure we had options. Additionally, the messaging whether by text or a call in was immediate and complete. There are some things in this unit that were a little quirky (light switches are wired weird) and we had troubles with the wiFi initially and the door code switches but a phone call away and --- corrected. We had questions or needs (broken hair dryer, key code didn't work) and you had some repairs/ maintenance to be done -- timing was immediate and polite. Polite as in, thanking us or letting us know when fridge work was expected or, that it was completed. We had several changes to our schedule while there, had to change our date and...on the last day had a lot of running around to do in the morning -- you allowed us a late check out to noon which helped so much! We were able to fill the needs, get to mass, leave our unit in the shape we like and...we got a quick swim in the Gulf waters to stretch before travel. Enjoyed your setting after a very busy few days. We will definitely make this our regular spot to stay when we travel for Navy events in Niceville, Destin area! Compass Resorts is a beautiful condo in walking distance to the beach. The host was very responsive and showcased a clean and inviting home. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the beach waves. There are local restaurants within a short driving distance along with other fun activities, and a mall! 2 adult women. Beach close view perfect but next time we would want 2 bedroom so someone is sleeping in the hall in a bunk bed. The bunk was not comfy and too hard

Nice place with a lovely balcony. Heated Pool. Easy access to the beach. Loved the joint standard Coffee Maker and K Cup set up. We definitely would stay here again. The only downfall was no curtains in the main bedroom. The blinds didn't block all of the light from the back hallway.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Summerspell #308. The condo was beautiful and well appointed. The only downside is there is no elevator so carrying luggage and groceries up and down three flights of steps was a little difficult. The beach was beautiful as always and the crowds were minimal since we were there at the end of October.

Our family of 5 stayed at this condo during July 4 holiday. We typically rent 2-3 bedroom condos because our 3 children range in ages from 22 to 10. However, this condo was so much more affordable than the 2-3 bedroom condos and the location/proximity to the beach is fantastic. Our 2 girls took the bunk beds and our son used the sofa sleeper. It was quite cozy and not having individual bedrooms resulted in alot more quality time spent with each other. The condo was clean, plenty of towels, cutlery and dishes. The view and location are great. Lots of families and small children were in the complex, very family friendly. Value for the money can't be beat.

My husband and I brought our 2 and 4 year old here for 4 days and it could not have been more perfect for us. So close to the beach. The beach access is directly across the street. It is a public access but was not crowded at all. One of us would take our car full of chairs and toys to the public lot around 9am so that we wouldn’t have to carry it all across the street. We were able to get a front row spot every day. I was worried about having a third floor unit with two little ones, but the stairs weren’t steep at all and they led almost directly to our front door. The view from the third floor was just perfect. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful place. It had everything we needed And the view was exceptionally beautiful. If anything I would say it would be nice if it had a larger TV in the bedroom and nightstand on both sides of the bed. But for the most part our stay was perfect!

Rented this unit to evacuate from Hurricane Ida the daily rate was very affordable especially since we had to stay another day and we thank you for that as this was an unexpected expense. Even though we were not able to go to the beach due to rain and double red flags we were safe. The rental process was very easy. Will definitely rent this until again.

We loved how close this property was to the beach. It was great having a kitchen to cook in and do our meals so we weren’t having to eat out all the time. The table in the living room was perfect for our little one year old. I’d put some of her toys all around it and she’s take them down and play. There was plenty of space in the bedroom for her pack n play. I’d put her in her high chair out in the balcony in the mornings and we’d watch the rolling waves and birds fly by. It was lovely. As far as cleanliness, it was pretty clean, but some of the towels had makeup stains and there were other minor things like hairs already on the bed sheets, etc. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time celebrating my daughters and husbands birthdays!!!

Enjoyed the view and the unit was clean and in good shape. We do a lot of our own cooking on long stays, so the kitchen is very important. All of the burners on the stove worked which has been a problem for us in other units. We will definitely consider this unit for future visits. Also, the automated checkin and check out was very efficient.

My daughter & I celebrated her college graduation with a Florida trip. We spent the 3rd week in October. The location is perfect. The beach is great. The condo was clean and well-stocked. It is exactly as pictured. We did find the pull-out couch quite uncomfortable. It's really not suitable for an adult. Guests who need that extra bed may want to keep that in mind. We would highly recommend this condo. I hope to visit again!

This was our first trip to this area and we were traveling with 2 small children. We loved this adorable condo. It is in the perfect location with an amazing view. The bed was a bit stiff for us but plenty of room. Minor stains on curtains and sofa but otherwise lovely and clean furnishings. We would try to rent this condo again if/when we return to the area.

My husband & I stayed for a week to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and it was perfect. I have visited Destin 3 times in the last 5 years and will not stay anywhere but here! The condo is wonderfully kept and very cozy. Definitely a home away from home! The balcony is one of my favorite spots to relax and drink coffee in the mornings. Listening to the waves roll in and spotting dolphins is fantastic! I also love the fact that I can walk to beach, who wants sand in their car? I highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone. It is the perfect getaway for a couple or for a family trip. I will always come back to 308!

Wonderful family vacation! We stayed for 7 nights and we were very sad to leave. The condo has the perfect beach decor and the view from the balcony is Amazing! The full kitchen was great since we were traveling with young children and had everything we needed. The location is perfect! The pool is just a few steps away, the beach is right across the street and our favorite restaurant, Pompano Joes, is just a short walk away. We will definitely stay here again!

This is the perfect spot for a couples getaway or a family vacation. The views of the beach from the balcony of the condo were awesome! A perfect place to watch a sunset over the water. Access to the beach is just a short walk from the front door. Also within walking distance is Pampano Joe's which is one of the most popular restaurants in the area. The decor of the condo is great and offers a full kitchen. We will certainly be staying here again.
