There is nothing quite like the warm, resonant sound of dozens of tubas filling the open-air plaza of Baytowne Wharf with beloved Christmas carols. Tuba Christmas is an annual holiday tradition that transforms the Village of Baytowne Wharf into a wonderfully quirky, deeply heartwarming celebration - and it is completely free to attend. Local and visiting musicians gather for a one-of-a-kind concert that is equal parts joyful and memorable.

The fun starts at 5 PM and runs through 7 PM, giving families plenty of time to soak in the festive atmosphere, snap photos with Santa Claus, and browse the charming shops and restaurants that line the village's cobblestone paths. The event draws a cheerful mix of locals and vacationers looking for something truly unique to do during the holidays on Florida's Emerald Coast.

Every December, the annual Lighted Boat Parade transforms the harbor into a floating holiday spectacle, as dozens of festively decorated and illuminated vessels make their way through the water to the delight of thousands who line the waterfront to cheer them on.

The parade kicks off at 6 PM, with boats of all sizes competing to outshine one another with their holiday displays and creative themes. Waterfront restaurants along the harbor — including AJ's Seafood, Tailfins, and Harry T's — fill up with revelers who get front-row seats to the festivities. Fireworks burst over the harbor shortly after the parade, making this one of the most memorable nights of the Emerald Coast holiday calendar.
