Experience the magic of the holiday season with the Northwest Florida Ballet’s 46th annual production of The Nutcracker at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center. Featuring more than 140 performers, Tchaikovsky’s beloved score, and enchanting scenes from the Land of Snow to the Kingdom of Sweets, this classic ballet is a festive tradition for the whole family. Performances take place the weekend before Thanksgiving, with tickets available for adults and children.

Baytowne Sparkling Wine and Holiday Lights

The most magical evening of the Baytowne holiday season arrives on November 21 as The Village of Baytowne Wharf uncorks its annual Sparkling Wine & Holiday Lights celebration from 4 to 6 PM. This beloved tradition combines the finest effervescent wines with the enchantment of the Emerald Coast's most dazzling holiday light show, all for a great cause.
Guests wander the beautifully decorated streets of the village sampling more than 30 champagnes and sparkling wines - from classic French Champagne to Italian Prosecco, Spanish Cava, and more - all paired with delicious small bites from the Village's finest restaurants. It's an elegant progressive wine tasting wrapped in the magic of the holidays, with festive music, fellow wine enthusiasts, and the most picturesque backdrop on the Gulf Coast.
The evening culminates in the first tree lighting of the season and Baytowne Wharf's signature 'Nights of Lights' choreographed light show - a showstopping display that announces the official start of the holiday season on the Emerald Coast. Proceeds benefit a local charity, so every sip makes a difference. A perfect pre-Thanksgiving treat for couples and friends who want to kick off the holiday season in style.
