Destin Seafood Festival

One of Destin’s most celebrated traditions, the Destin Seafood Festival kicks off the Destin Fishing Rodeo that extends the entire month of October. The event was started in 1978 by the Destin Charter Boat Association Women’s Auxiliary. While the festival has grown into its new home on the Destin Harbor Boardwalk, the Destin Seafood Festival remains the primary fundraiser for the Destin Charter Boat Association.
Formed in 1954, the Destin Charter Boat Association is a Non-Profit Organization that provides many valuable contributions to our beloved city: their primary function is advocacy for Fisheries Management. They also contribute to various community development projects, and award a scholarship to the winner of the Miss Destin Pageant.
The festival is always FREE TO ATTEND. Walk over 75 vendors to shop, explore, listen to music and eat delicious seafood all weekend long.
Grab your VIP tickets! A smaller, more local seafood festival will be taking place inside the larger Destin Seafood Festival on Saturday, Sept. 26, and Sunday, Sept. 27. This will be a ticketed event where attendees can sample items from local chefs and restaurants, drink local beers, and enjoy a day of fun.

Beach Liquors Wine Tasting
- Location: Beach Liquors Destin
- Starts: 5:00 pm
- Ends: 7:00 pm
Visit Beach Liquors Destin on Friday evenings for a fun filled night with hand selected wines and charcuterie boards.
MUST BE 21.
$10 per person with $5 off selected wines when purchased.
Fall Concerts at the Landing
- Location: Fort Walton Beach Landing, 139 Brooks Street SE, Fort Walton Beach
- Starts: 6:00 pm
- Ends: 8:00 pm
Concerts are free and held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday nights at the newly renovated Fort Walton Beach Landing park, at 139 Brooks Street SE. Bring your lawn chair or quilt and come enjoy an evening of music at this lovely waterfront park in downtown Fort Walton Beach!
