What do a 100- foot octopus, 80- foot panda, and a 50- foot gator have in common? They’ll all be flying high over the Fort Walton Beach Boardwalk. Join Kitty Hawk Kites and the Emerald Coast Kite Fliers Club for two days of FREE kite-flying fun.
Enjoy larger-than-life show kites, professional stunt kite flying demonstrations, free kite flying lessons, a family fun fly perfect for any age, and special activities at the Kitty Hawk Kites store at The Boardwalk.

City of Destin's Annual Easter Egg Hunt
- Location: Morgan Sports Center - Destin

The City of Destin’s annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Morgan Sports Center beginning at 9:00 am. The Easter Egg Hunt is for youth ages 12 and under, with a special egg hunting zone for crawlers & toddlers and even a visit from the Easter Bunny! People with disabilities, who require assistance to participate in this event are requested to notify the recreation staff at least 48 hours in advance.
