Different Palms for Different Parties

How to Pick the Perfect Vacation Rental at The Palms of Destin

When booking at The Palms of Destin Resort, there are over 400 condos to choose from in a variety of floor plans. For the inside scoop on The Palms, here’s a breakdown of the different types of vacation rentals and how they can fit your needs.

The Palms of Destin Resort is comprised of two twelve-story towers and a row of poolside villas. When looking at the resort from above (facing north), tower one is on the right and tower two is on the left and the villas are the arc that surrounds the pool deck. Even numbered condos are on the outside of both towers. The odd numbered condos are on the inside. Pro tip: the odd numbered condos have a prime view of the lagoon pool!

Peer from the balcony of an even numbered condo in tower one and you’ll spy east Destin toward Henderson Beach. From an even numbered condo in tower two, you’ll see the view of west Destin toward Okaloosa Island. The very best views at the Palms of Destin can be seen from the condos that end in 15, 16, or 17 on floors 7 and above.

Throughout the resort, vacation rentals are available in the following floor plans.

Condos ending in 3 through 14 are the junior two-bedroom floorplans. In addition to the standard living room, kitchen, and balcony, there’s a master bedroom with a king bed and a private master bathroom. There’s also a junior bedroom with a private bathroom and a cozier layout perfect for children. Planning a big getaway? This floorplan is the most common in the building, which means you'll be able to find plenty of condos on the same floor or in the same building.

The most distinct condo option at The Palms are the two-bedroom poolside villas. These are the condos that are in the 3100 range. All are ground level, so you’ll have pool access just by walking out your front door! The villas have two full bedrooms in addition to the standard property features of a Palms rental. They’re also the most spacious rental option.

Plus, they have some astounding views of the pool and nearby beach since each one features a spacious panoramic balcony that faces towards the Gulf of Mexico.
