Description

The St. Croix HOA has scheduled construction to waterproof the exterior of the building, and re-coat balcony railings. This work will begin Tuesday, September 27, 2022 and is expected to be completed around Wednesday, November 30, 2022 (weather permitting). Guests staying at Silver Shells during this time should expect to hear general construction noise including loud grinding and buzzing around the resort between 8:30AM – 5:30PM CST Monday – Friday. If you have any questions, please call us at 850-269-1005.

This is located on the fourteenth floor.

Silver Shells St. Croix 1402 is a Destin vacation rental located in the highly desirable Silver Shells Beach Resort. The interior spaces of Silver Shells St. Croix 1402 have been tastefully decorated with a trendy coastal theme. An open floor plan gives the whole family or group space to relax together. The living area is beach-facing, features floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors, and offers plenty of seating for the whole family to gather around the flat-screen TV. The couch even converts to a queen sleeper sofa for larger parties. The spacious beachfront balcony is perfectly furnished to allow for entertaining or dining while taking in spectacular views of the white sand beach and emerald waters. The dining area has seating for four with two additional seats at the breakfast bar. The fully equipped kitchen includes full-size stainless steel appliances and all the cookware and dishware you could need for creating memorable meals.

The master bedroom has incredible beach views and private access to the beachfront balcony. Complete with a king bed, flat-screen TV, and private ensuite bathroom, the master bedroom was designed with relaxation in mind. The master bathroom features a jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, and plenty of vanity space. The guest bedroom has two twin beds, a flat-screen TV, and private access to the beachfront balcony. Just a few steps from both the guest bedroom and the living area is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. A laundry closet is also located in the guest bathroom with a full-size washer and dryer.

The following amenities are open: Lagoon Pool, The Sand Bar, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, and The Spa at Silver Shells.
The following amenities are closed: Sports Courts, Indoor/Outdoor Pool, Fitness Center, and Cardio Center.

We didn't receive emails regarding our stay but we did receive text messages. The check-in process was easy since we arrived before the office closed. The check-out process was fine; however, we didn't know if we need to strip beds, where to gather towels. It would have been nice to have a sheet detailing those things.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was well maintained and the views from the bedrooms and living room were beautiful. master bedroom bed was comfy and enjoyed the jacuzzi tub... Easy access to the pool and the ocean.

The condo had everything we needed for the week. We were impressed with the cleanliness and it was tastefully decorated, has newer flooring/carpet. The pool was very nice, plenty of space and chairs available each day. It's nice having the beach bar accessible. We utilized the fitness facilities as well, they are well equiped. We also enjoyed a night dining at Ruth Chris' Steakhouse during our stay. Very conveniently located to all necessary stores/activities. Overall we loved SS unit 1402.

Great unit to rent. Plenty of space, great balcony and view. Fast elevators also. Grounds are very nice. Exercise facility very adequate. Really enjoyed our stay, actually extended an extra day at last minute!
